SPECIALIST PAEDIATRICIAN & PAEDIATRIC NEPHROLOGIST
Dr Rashinta Moodley is a general paediatrician as well as a superspecialist in paediatric nephrology. Her scope of practice includes treating general medical ailments of babies, children and adolescents as well as managing specific kidney, urinary and bladder conditions.
Dr Rashinta Moodley is a general paediatrician and paediatric nephrologist (kidney specialist) in full time private practice. She completed her primary medical degree at Nelson R Mandela School of Medicine in 2002 before completing her internship at Livingstone Hospital in Port Elizabeth and community service at King Edward Hospital in Durban.
Thereafter, Dr Moodley spent 18 months in the United Kingdom as a resident medical officer at many BUPA and Nuffield Hospitals.
She then fulfilled her passion in child health by completing her Fellowship in Paediatrics from the college of paediatricians in 2009.
Dr Moodley worked as a paediatric consultant at Mahatma Gandhi Hospital for three years.
